ILOILO – After a year of hiding, a rape suspect deemed as the No. 1 most wanted man in the municipality of Zarraga, Iloilo was arrested on Tuesday in Barangay Sawang Arotoy, Masbate province.
The 27-year-old Christian Bulalacao of Barangay Talaugis, Zarraga was turned over to the Zarraga police station after his arrest.
Bulalacao was charged with three counts of rape. The complainant was a cousin.
According to Zarraga police chief, Police Major Aldren Lamera, the complainant claimed to have been raped thrice in 2021.
Bulalacao disappeared from the barangay after his cousin filed the complaint last year./PN
