ROXAS CITY – A jail officer of BJMP-Roxas City died after he figured in a motorcycle accident last March 25 in Barangay Cabugao here.
Thirty-five-year-old victim, Jail Officer 2 July Posadas of Sara town was declared dead on arrival when he was rushed to the hospital after losing consciousness.
According to reports, the victim was on his way to his boarding house when he allegedly fell off his motorcycle, but refused to seek treatment at the hospital. He returned to BJMP-Roxas City where he suddenly lost consciousness.
He was brought to the Capiz Emmanuel Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The management of the jail facility is waiting for the victim’s death certificate to determine the cause of his death. /PN
