Kabankalan resident faces gun, drug and poll raps

BACOLOD City – A resident of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental face a string of charges following his arrest in Barangay Gil Montilla, Sipalay City.

The local police apprehended Marjun Repique, 31, over a complaint for allegedly possessing a loose firearm.

Responding cops recovered a .38 revolver – and more during a body search. They also found two plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P68,000.

The suspect faces a charge for illegal drug possession, violation of the election gun ban and illegal gun possession.

Repique was taken to the Sipalay police station after his arrest./PN
