ANTIQUE – This province has so far received from the Department of Health (DOH) 945,560 doses of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines since vaccination started in early 2021.
Here’s the brand breakdown of the doses:
* Sinovac – 302,910
* AstraZeneca – 81,880
* Pfizer – 308,690
* Gamaleya – 4,800
* Janssen – 112,000 (single dose)
* Moderna – 135,280
A “situation report” from DOH Region 6 stated that 65.67 percent (or 620,932) of the 945,560 doses had been utilized. It was silent, however, as to the 324,628 doses.
The utilized doses, on the other hand, went for the following:
* 275,248 doses – for first dose
* 255,369 doses – for second dose
* 33,221 doses – for booster shots
* 57,094 doses – single shot
As of April 28, here are the vaccination accomplishments in Antique:
* for pediatrics (12 to 17 years old) – 54,058 received first dose; 48,452 fully vaccinated
* for pediatrics (5 to 11 years old) – 13,084 received first dose; 8,044 fully vaccinated
