The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives and the way we live since it was first declared last 2020. However, the world is now looking into declaring the pandemic into an endemic. Though the pandemic is not yet totally over, the world is slowly embracing life with the virus.
Locally, in Visayas and Mindanao, almost 10 key cities and provinces were declared to be under level 1 restrictions according to the latest classification from IATF. Public transport is now moving towards full capacity and this means that people will be more exposed as they slowly start attending public gatherings again in the coming months.
But the question remains, are we ready to live in the new normal? Here are some essentials for you to be ready:
- Hand Sanitizer
Sanitizing our hands will still be commonly practiced. It’s always important to keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer in the bag.
- Face Mask
Face masks will still be required especially in indoor settings
- Water
To keep ourselves hydrated, a water bottle is very essential. With summer just around the corner it’s important to make sure you have a bottle of water ready to prevent dehydration. Bringing a personal tumbler is becoming a common practice to save on costs of purchasing bottled water from time to time.
- Flu Medicine
One thing we learned from this pandemic is that it’s better to be ready than to be sorry. So, stock up a banig (foil pack) of Phenylephrine HCl Chlorphenamine Maleate Paracetamol (BIOFLU) just in case one will experience flu symptoms.
It is a cost efficient and good way to combat flu symptoms like fever, runny nose, body pain, headache, sore throat, body pain and cough caused by post nasal drip.
It’s better that we prepare ourselves with these essentials every day given the ever-changing situation.
Preparation is indeed key!
