CAPIZ – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has proclaimed as election winner Vice Gov. James Magbanua, a reelectionist.
It also proclaimed the winners for Provincial Board members: Pepe Del Rosario, Sonny Besa, Gingging Almalbis, Thea Faith Reyes, and Trina Marie Ignacio for the 1st District and Nonoy Arevalo, Gilbert Ardivilla, Mr. Clean Cruz-Am, Inday San Felix, and Celio Fecundo for the 2nd District.
In Roxas City, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas got reelected and running mate for vice mayor Teresa “Inday” Almalbis also came out victorious.
The city councilors proclaimed as winners were Dr. Victor Federico Acepcion, Jaime Altavas, John Paul Arcenas, Atty. Paul Ivan Baticados, Rey Magallanes, Atty. Garry Potato, Herbert Chu, Earl Sicad, Bords Viterbo, and Moring Gonzaga.
For town mayors, the proclaimed winners were Joemarie Openiano (Cuartero), Jose Jimbo Barruela (Dao), Atty. Matt Hachuela (Dumarao), Khuku Castro (Dumalag), Mon-Mon Malapajo (Maayon), Luz Labao (Mambusao), Henry Tumlos (Pontevedra), Nonong Palomar (Tapaz), Ipe Yap (Ivisan), Vic Bermejo (Panay), Tanoy Escolin (President Roxas), Mac Valdemar (Jamindan), Kit Dequiña-Belo (Panitan), Joe Villanueva (Sapian), Mon-Mon Malapajo (Maayon), Arnold Perez (Pilar), and Dante Eslabon (Sigma)./PN
