NEARSOL is proud to announce that it has been Great Place to Work-Certified™ for the year 2022.
The Great Place to Work-Certified™ Recognition is a global accreditation that tells stakeholders what employees think of the company culture.
In brief, it says a lot about the happiness and productivity index in NEARSOL. The certification process shows that employees are satisfied with the working environment and that they trust the leaders.
This is NEARSOL’s second consecutive year on the roster. They share this recognition with global companies such as Cisco, American Express, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, T-Mobile USA, and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts (among many others).
Equally worth mentioning is NEARSOL’s 11th Anniversary in the Philippines. NEARSOL’s CEO and Leadership Team marked this huge event via a grand virtual celebration with the NEARSOL Philippines Team. Congratulations NEARSOL! Cheers to the next decade!
Speaking of the next decade and new beginnings, what are your plans?
Planning can feel like such a useless task. Everything good (from career to promotions, to relationships) seems to happen to “other people”. Everyone but you.
But tell you what. The funny thing is, this is precisely the time when you need to be planning for the future.
It can be tough to pin down a plan, especially when you don’t know what to do or you just don’t have enough resources available. If you find yourself stuck, or if you find yourself at a crossroads, check out these tips to make your awesome future happen.
1. MAKE A LIST – Make a list of what you want to accomplish. If you can’t decide what you want to be just yet (or where you see yourself down the line), it helps to list down specific goals for the next few years. Examples include finishing high school, finishing college, getting a certain certification… Include the fun stuff such as traveling, starting an online business, or learning a new skill. With those written down, you have something to aim for.
2. OPEN A SAVINGS ACCOUNT – We love the convenience of online payment platforms, but it does help to have an “old school” kind of account. Yes… the kind your parents and grandparents have. We need money to do everything. It’s a stable thing to have and it disciplines your money habits. Put a portion of whatever you earn in this account. A little goes a long way. Make it a habit and you’ll be thanking yourself later. Take every opportunity to learn about financial products and instruments. When your income stream is more stable, make wise investments.
3. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE – It pays to be around people who can mentor you. It also helps to be surrounded by friends who are driven. Not only will you be exposed to tips and tricks, but your support group will also be there to offer you sound advice. Where to find these people? Join communities online. Volunteer. Take that certification course. There isn’t a dearth of people who have overcome insurmountable challenges in life. Their story could be your story too.
Begin an awesome career at NEARSOL.
Surround yourself with passionate and driven individuals – just like you!
