ILOILO – Six persons got stabbed on May 22 in a beach resort in Barangay Baras, Guimbal, Iloilo.
According to Corporal Tommy Macalalag of the Guimbal police station, the stabbing happened at 2:30 p.m. while the victims were having fun in a cottage.
The suspect was Dante Alimania, 39, of Barangay Kinaspan, Alimodian town. The beach resort guard arrested and detained him at the Guimbal police station.
The victims were Jeffry Enoja, 34; Jansen Consumo, 40; Oliver Enoja, 22; Julio Enoja Jr, 21; Jepy Camada, 36; and Ronaldo Enoja, 27, all of Barangay Quipot, Janiuay, Iloilo.
They were brought to the Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial District Hospital also in Guimbal for treatment. They were released shortly except for Julio Enoja who was transferred to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo City.
Suspect Alimania was not part of the group of men that he stabbed, police said; he just barged into the cottage and started attacking the victims for no appareny reason.
