BACOLOD City – Ceres buses won’t increase their fare yet despite the incessant increase in the prices of fuel.
According to Jade Seballos, media relations officer for Ceres Transport Incorporated and the Yanson Group of Bus Companies, the public will be properly informed once there are fare adjustments.
Seballos admitted that the company is also bearing the brunt of continuing oil prices hikes, coupled with the adverse economic effects of the coronavirus disease pandemic.
However, Seballos explained they could not just implement a fare increase.
They have to confer with the Nagkakaisang Samahan ng Nangangasiwa sa Panlalawigang Bus sa Pilipinas, the group the company is affiliated with./PN
