ILOILO City – The No. 1 most wanted person in San Remigio, Antique has been arrested.
Jeorge Rufino, charged with murder, was caught in Barangay Funda, Hamtic, Antique on July 20.
He was served with an arrest warrant issued by Presiding Judge Jojo C. Cruzat of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 11 (San Jose, Antique) on June 16, 2022.
From Hamtic, Rufino was taken to the San Remigio municipal police station.
Police Captain Ian Magbanua, acting chief of police of San Remigio, led the operation to arrest Rufino.
He was assisted by the personnel of the Antique Police Provincial Office’s Intelligence Unit under Police Major Benjo Clarite, and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Antique./PN
