ILOILO City – Two drug pushing suspects were arrested in Zone 1, Barangay East Timawa, Molo district around 10:15 p.m. on Aug. 16.
They face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Gabriel Gonzales, 42, was a resident of the said barangay while Rosenda Near, 40, was from Barangay General Hughes, Iloilo City.
A police poseur buyer got from the suspect four pieces of heat-seal transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.
Cops further recovered two cellphones, a modified tube pipe, an empty cigarette pack, two disposable lighter, a bundled of small empty plastic sachets, three improvised scoops, seven pieces rolled aluminum foil, a pair of scissors, and two improvised stick clip.
The estimated value of the suspected shabu recovered was P6,800./PN
