ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay San Juan, Molo district was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Lopez Jaena Norte, La Paz district around 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17.
The drug pushing suspect was 45-year-old Jeremy Anoche.
Police recovered five plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 3.5 grams with an estimated drug price of P23,800 from the suspect’s possession.
Also seized were P5,100 in buy-bust money and other non-drug items.
According to Police Major Jose Val Ladublan, La Paz police station chief, Anoche was caught in a drug buy-bust operation back in 2016 and was released from prison in 2020.
The suspect, now in the custody of the La Paz police station, faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
