BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Bata in this city was detained at the Bago City Police Station following a theft complaint.
Suspect Tata Dela Cruz, 39, allegedly stole a mountain bike owned by Joebert Flores, 18, a resident of Barangay Napoles, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Police said the bike, valued at P56,000, was recovered from the suspect’s possession.
The incident reportedly happened at about 12 noon on Oct. 25 in Barangay Balingasag, Bago City.
Dela Cruz was apprehended by a tanod in the city’s Barangay Calumanggan around 1:30 p.m. on the same day./PN
