BACOLOD City – Sixty grams of suspected shabu valued at around P408,000 were seized from a drug suspect in Hacienda Banilad 1, Barangay Nanca, in E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental early yesterday morning.

Police identified the suspect as 34-year-old Michael Bermejo, a resident of the said place.

He was previously identified as a drug surrenderee under “Oplan: Tokhang”, according to Police Major Kenneth Gratones, E.B. Magalona municipal police chief.

Despite surrendering, however, the suspect allegedly continued engaging in illegal drug activities, Gratones added.
