ILOILO City – A male student fractured his right foot after a pickup collided with the tricycle he was riding along the Diversion Road in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Andrei Pelonia was a resident of Parc Regency, Pavia, Iloilo.
The driver of the tricycle was Niño Atundag, 39, of Barangay Bolilao.
Atundag said they were traveling from the Atria area to Barangay Ungka, Jaro district. He had five passengers, all of whom were students.
A maroon Ford XLT Ranger pickup grabbed their lane and hit the tricycle, Atundag added.
With the help of a food delivery driver, the alleged drunk driver of the pickup was located.
The pickup driver is currently in the custody of the Mandurriao police station./PN
