ILOILO City – The No. 6 most wanted person in Lemery, Iloilo was arrested in Barangay Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite after six years of hiding.
The 31-year-old Christian Paul Baroro was a resident of Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
He was arrested around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, through an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 66 in Barotac Viejo, for the crimes of murder and illegal possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The suspect was charged with shooting Ralph Domingo to death sometime in 2016 in Barangay Pontoc, Lemery, according to Police Lieutenant Jose Winston Biadog, chief of the Lemery police station.
“We received a tip from a concerned citizen that he was hiding in Cavite. We have to fetch him this week so that we can present him to the court,” Biadog said.
The court recommended an P80,000 bail bond for Baroro’s illegal possession of unlicensed firearm case while no bail was recommended for his murder case./PN
