BACOLOD City – A fish vendor from Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental yielded 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P100,000 during a drug buy-bust operation.
The 37-year-old suspect, Renato Espinosa, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Also recovered from Espinosa was the P2,100 buy-bust money.
Officers of the Silay City Police Station led by its chief, Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, conducted the operation at the public market of Barangay 2.
Espinosa was detained at the Silay City Police Station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, would be filed against him./PN
