LOOKING forward to her upcoming holiday break after a whole year of nonstop work, actress Sunshine Cruz recently revealed what she was looking forward to doing before the year ends.
“Ang plano, I don’t know kung matutuloy, parang sasama si Cesar (ex-husband Cesar Montano) and ‘yung partner niya and ‘yung mga kids also. Kasi they’re very close with my kids.
“We are family, ‘di ba, so, it’s a good thing na everything is okay na. Maayos na lahat. Nagkakasundo. Sino ba naman ang may ayaw na hindi magkasundo-sundo? So, okay naman,” she shared during an event last Dec. 6.Sunshine also talked about being open to spending time with her blended family while ushering in the new year.
“Sana nga matuloy ha? Hindi pa ako sure pero kasi the kids are telling me that dad, tita Kath and their siblings want to join in Bohol. And Diego (Loyzaga) will be there also. And sabi ko that’s fun,” the actress said.
“It’s going to be the first time since we separated if ever in 2013. First New Year and Christmas. They’re very happy. Sabi nga nila kumpleto na daw ang kanilang heart. Now that everything is okay. ‘Yun naman ang gusto natin,” she admitted.
Sunshine shared that she also has advice to her followers who have a similar family situation as her.
“Kasi ako naman, a lot of moms na may struggles sa family or sa husbands would message me sometimes on Instagram or Facebook asking me paano ako naka-move on. Ang sinasabi ko naman, if kaya niyo ilaban, ilaban ninyo pamilya niyo. Ilaban ninyo ang asawa ninyo, ilaban ninyo ang pamilya niyo but you have to also pray.
“There comes a time na enough is enough, ‘di ba? May ganun talaga. So, ‘yun ang lagi kong sinasabi. Kasi ‘di ba masarap pa rin ang buong pamilya,” she said.
Still choosing to keep mum on the rumors of her breakup with boyfriend Macky Mathay last September, Sunshine talked about her secret to always looking beautiful.
“Just loving myself more now. After my separation kasi ‘yun ‘yung nakalimutan ko eh. Masyado akong na-focus sa pagmamahal ko sa asawa that I forgot to love myself. So come 2013 na-realize ko na I should love myself if I want someone to love me also, if I want them to take care of me. Kasi paano ka mamahalin ng isang tao kung sarili mo hindi mo kaya mahalin?
“So for now, number one mahalin mo ang sarili mo and it’s not being selfish. It’s taking care of yourself and your heart. So, ‘yun ‘yung ginawa ko.
“I am okay. I’m very happy. Siyempre mas masarap sa pakiramdam at sa puso na wala ng hatred, wala ng tampuhan, walang issue, ‘di ba? Lahat naman tayo dumadating sa point na nakakapagod din at gusto na lang natin kapayapaan talaga. I’m okay. Lagi naman tayong okay, ‘di ba? ‘Yun lang (laughs),” she revealed. (PUSH)
