Headed by Police Colonel Rommel C. Estolano, the RFSO-6 distributed rice, groceries, slippers, and cash, among many other things, to more or less 100 children.

The activity was in line with the RFSO-6’s “Buhay ay Ingatan Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) sa Barangay” campaign.

It aims to educate the children about the dangers of illegal drugs and how to avoid them.

He added, “Nandito ‘yong mga kabataan na ‘to dahil we have to inculcate in their minds kung gaano ka-importante maiwasan natin ang mga ipinagbabawal na gamot.”

The barangay council and stakeholders in Barangay Zamora-Melliza, together with the personnel from RFSO-6, also signed a pledge of commitment to support the programs of the SILG./PN
