BACOLOD City – Two persons ended up in a hospital in Isabela, Negros Occidental after stabbing and hacking each other.
Joel de Juan, 56, and Rogie Español, both residents of Barangay Bungahin, Isabela, were brought to the Lacson Arroyo Memorial District Hospital.
At around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, Español was observed drunk while passing the house of de Juan, and an argument ensued between them, police said.
It was alleged that Español stabbed de Juan using a gaff.
De Juan managed to retaliate by hacking Español with a bolo and hitting him on the head, police added./PN
