VETERAN entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz revealed in the latest episode of Showbiz Update on his YouTube channel that Divine Geronimo has been allegedly mistreating her staff.
Ogie shared a conversation he had with one of the employees working under Divine.
Divine is the mother of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and has been running different businesses outside her daughter’s work.
This comes after an employee claimed that Sarah’s mother had not been providing her salary on time. The unnamed employee wanted to bring to light the issue as Divine has allegedly barred other employees from getting their belongings in the office, adding that they need to set up an appointment to be able to do so.
“Matagal na silang nagrereklamo kay Mommy Divine pero matigas daw si Mommy Divine. Talagang patakaran ni Mommy Divine ay pumunta kayo, magpa-appointment muna kayo bago ko ibigay ‘yung sahod ninyo [at] ibigay ang mga gamit niyo,” Ogie revealed.
“Ang nirereklamo ay ang mommy ni Sarah Geronimo na si Mommy Divine. May isang empleyado na gusto na kunin ang mga gamit pero ayaw pumayag ni Mommy Divine. Actually, ang haba-haba ng reklamo na ‘yan at hindi pa rin natatapos ang conversation nila,” Ogie added.
Ogie said he wanted to give Divine the benefit of the doubt as the employee may have just made up the story. He advised the celebrity mother to clear her name, telling Divine to take care of the people working for her businesses.
“Mahirap na po ito lalo na sa panahon ngayon. Mommy Divine Geronimo, baka ipa-Tulfo po kayo ng mga inyong empleyado na nagrereklamo sa inyo. Mas maganda na ayusin na natin ito at para sa ganoon, makapamuhay lahat ng maayos,” Diaz said.
As of writing, Divine has still not given any statement to clarify the issue. (PUSH)
