BACOLOD City – A female dance instructor was stabbed at a beach resort in Barangay Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental on Wednesday night.
Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Aiza Relyes, a resident of Sitio Cavite in the said village.
According to Binalbagan town police, the suspect, identified only by his alias “Moron Igmasin”, came to the beach resort and invited the victim to drink with him.
When Relyes refused the invite, the suspect drew a bladed weapon and stabbed Relyes on the chest.
The suspect fled while Relyes was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
As of this writing policemen were still looking for the suspect, who could face the charge of frustrated homicide./PN
