ILOILO – The seven-year-old girl found dead in Barangay Gogo, Estancia, Iloilo on Dec. 19, 2022 was raped, an autopsy showed.
“Ang pilas lang gid nga nakita sa bata amo to ang sa iya ulo kag sa iya kinatawo,” said Police Staff Sergeant Dan Jerald Allanic of Estancia.
The autopsy also determined that the girl died of a traumatic head injury.
“Gin lampusan sang hard object kag wasak gid ‘ni ang iya ulo,” Allanic said.
It was likely that a bottle of intoxicating liquor was used to hit the victim’s head, according to the autopsy.
The police of Estancia believed more than one person assaulted the girl.
It earlier said some witnesses came forward.
Yesterday, the Estancia police station filed charges of rape with homicide against at least one suspect./PN
