ROXAS City – The city police was able to confiscate over P700,000 worth of shabu in 2022.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, city police spokesperson, said 99.18 grams of shabu were seized from a total of 16 buy-bust operations.
Also, 18 drug suspects were arrested and charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Arcangeles said there has been a decrease in the number of drug suspects arrested and the value of illegal drugs seized in 2022 compared to their operations in 2021./PN
