Indiscriminate firing injures 2

BACOLOD City – Two women were hospitalized. They got wounded from an indiscriminate firing incident in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.

Editha Sarsaba was 69 years old while and Wilma Ocleasa was 59.

Police identified the suspect as Rodrigo Ape, 63.

Investigation revealed that Ape and his friends were having a drinking spree in a videoke store at about 3:48 p.m. on Jan. 8.

Ape was showing off his firearm when the two victims at the adjacent table insinuated that the suspect was all show.

According to police, this enraged the suspect who fired on the ground, accidentally hitting Sarsaba in the abdomen and Ocleasa in the left foot./PN
