ANTIQUE – Two brothers ended up in a hospital after a hacking incident in Sitio Igdumalid, Barangay Solong, Sibalom, Antique at about 1 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16.
Elmer and Elmor Pamisaran, twins from Barangay Bongbongan II, Sibalom, were brought to the Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
Police Major Renato Monreal, officer-in-charge of Sibalom Municipal Police Station (MPS), identified the suspect as Nilo Odango from Barangay Solong.
The three were on a drinking spree when a misunderstanding ensued between them, Monreal added. Odango first stabbed Elmer. His brother, Elmor, tried to pacify the suspect but he was also stabbed.
The Pamisaran twins hid in a grassy field while Odango fled.
Sibalom police launched a hot pursuit operation against the suspect./PN
