Parks, Nagoya on a roll In Japan B.League

MANILA – Bobby Ray Parks Jr. and Nagoya Diamond Dolphins continued their winning ways in the 2022-2023 Japan B.League after a 90-71 victory over Ibaraki Robots on Saturday night at the Kamisu Disaster Prevention Arena.

The former TNT Tropang Giga guard tallied seven points, including a three-pointer, to go with four rebounds and two assists as the Diamond Dolphins improved to 23-8 win-loss slate.

Coty Clark led the way with double-double 31 points and 11 rebounds, Scott Estherton added 22 markers, while Yutaro Soda and Takumi Saito chipped in 11 markers apiece for Nagoya.

Eric Jacobsen finished with 14 points, Thomas Kennedy added 13 markers, while former Blackwater Bossing reinforcement Cameron Krutwig had 11 points as the Robots dropped to 10-21.

Meanwhile, Dwight Ramos misfired in his return from lengthy absence as Levanga Hokkaido suffered a lopsided 98-82 defeat to Yokohama B Cosairs over at the Hokkai Kitayel.

The Gilas Pilipinas mainstay finished with just two points, making only one of his eight shot attempts, to go with two rebounds and a steal as the Hokkaido dropped to 7-24 win-loss slate.

Yuki Kawamura drilled six outside conversions to finish with 39 points, while Devin Oliver had double-double 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Cosairs moved up to 19-12 win-loss slate.

Ilonggo Kiefer Ravena managed to contribute on offense but Shiga Lakes continued their slump with a lopsided 108-80 defeat to Shimane Susanoo Magic on Saturday night at the Shiga Daihatsu Arena.

The former NLEX Road Warriors guard tallied 11 points to go with three assists, two steals and a rebound as the Lakes dropped further in the standings with its 4-27 win-loss slate.

Kiefer’s younger brother Ferdinand “Thirdy” Ravena III, meanwhile, had another subpar showing as San-En NeoPhoenix faltered to Sunrockers Shibuya, 103-93. Thirdy ended up with five points on two-of-five shooting./PN
