ILOILO – A 29-year-old man was shot in the head in People’s Village, Barangay Bacay, Dumangas, Iloilo, at around 7:25 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22.
The victim, Chrismar Calubayan alias “Tago” of Barangay Victorias, Dumangas, was attending a birthday party.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Kim John Banzon of the Dumangas Municipal Police Station (MPS) said Calubayan was approached by suspects Jomar De Asis, Ramil Doromal and Danilo Demapindal.
“Nagasaot ini ang biktima sang ginlabayan lang kag gulpi lang gintiro…Sa amon imbestigasyon, posible nga gin bantayan ini,” said Banzon.
A .38 caliber firearm was recovered from the crime scene.
