BACOLOD City – Several high-profile guests and politicians attended the 89th birthday celebration of Olivia V. Yanson (OVY), matriarch of the Yanson Group of Bus Companies, at the SMX Convention Center here on Monday, Jan. 23.
In attendance at OVY’s birthday were former President Rodrigo Duterte, Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio, First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, and senators Imee Marcos, Bong Go and Cynthia Villar.
In a speech, Duterte again called on the Filipino people to shun illegal drugs, pointing out that these destroy families and are a threat to the next generations./PN
