ILOILO – A man was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Baybay Norte, Miag-ao town around 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Roberto Labora Jr., a 36-year-old resident of the barangay, succumbed to two gunshot wounds on his chest.
“Gatindog ni kuno ang biktima naton sa kilid dalan sang hinali lang ginluthang sang suspek dayun may naga standby nga motor nga amo to kuno ang ginsakyan sang suspetsado malagyo,” said Police Captain Marvin Buenavista, chief of the Miag-ao municipal police.
Buenavista also said the victim was previously arrested for illegal drug activities.
The police is now trying to secure security camera footages in the area./PN
