ACTRESS Cherry Pie Picache has a reminder to young actors who are currently enjoying success in the entertainment industry.
Picache, in a press conference for the series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” said she hopes the young stars would remember to help others, especially senior actors.
“Sana kapag tumanda ako katulad ni Pen (Medina), sana sa mga batang artista na henerasyon ngayon, sana merong isang Coco Martin na magbibigay halaga sa mga elder actors… Kasi kung anuman ang pinundar nila, ‘yun din ang nagbigay ng inspirasyon, ng leksyon sa ‘ming mga batang artista,” Picache said.
“Sana kaming nasa edad ngayon, sa mga batang henerasyon ngayon na artista, it’s not just about social media, it’s not just about how many likes you have or your followers. It’s your dedication to your craft and it’s how kind and dedicated and committed you work with other people, hindi lang sa co-actors mo (kung ‘di) sa lahat ng parte ng team. Sa staff, sa crew, sa utility, sa buong community ng pagtatrabahuan mo,” she added.
She thanked Martin for helping actors like Medina, who underwent a successful spine surgery last year.
She also said she is proud of Martin’s growth as an actor.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” will start airing on Monday, Feb. 13 ā just half a year since the finale of Martin’s historic āAng Probinsyano.ā (ABS-CBN News)
