ILOILO City – Two motorcycles fell from the second-floor parking lot of a mall on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18.
A Montero Sports vehicle driven by a retired doctor, whose name was withheld, malfunctioned when about to park, according to traffic investigator Police Senior Master Sergeant Lougen Alarcon.
The vehicle suddenly accelerated and accidentally crashed into the motorcycles parking area, he added.
Aside from the two motorcycles that fell, three more were also hit by the car up at Robinsons Malls’ parking lot.
A parked Isuzu Sportivo below was also hit.
Today, Feb. 20, the driver of the Montero Sports and the owners of the damaged motorcycles will meet, Alarcon said.
No one was injured in the incident./PN
