ILOILO City – A retired Philippine Army was stabbed dead in Zone 15, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district.
Victim Joebert S. Bodiola, 63, and suspect Mark Losana, 35, were both residents of the said place.
Bediola was on his motorcycle when he passed by Losana having a drinking binge at about 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, according to Iloilo City Police Station (ICPS) 6 officer-in-charge Police Captain Resty Labasteda.
Losana told Bodiola to drive slowly, which led to a heated confrontation. Losano then followed Bodiola home and stabbed him several times using a kitchen knife.
Labasteda added that there has been an old grudge between both sides.
The suspect’s brother turned him over to the police.
Losano is facing a murder charge./PN
