BACOLOD City – A man was allegedly killed by his drinking buddies in Barangay Bulwangan, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, at around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22.
The 51-year-old victim, Cerilo Tarino, was a resident of the said place.
He was with suspects Eddie Garbellion, Nelson Garbellion and Jommel Delos Santos, all residents of Barangay Asia, Hinoba-an.
Due to drunkenness, the four had a heated argument, according to the initial police investigation.
Delos Santos allegedly struck the victim’s head with a beer bottle. When Tarino fell to the ground, Eddie allegedly stabbed the victim on his left shoulder.
The suspects remained at large./PN
