ROXAS City – A seven-year-old boy died of electrocution in Barangay Daan Sur, Tapaz, Capiz.
The victim was walking around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, when he accidentally came in contact with an open wire from a fallen electric line, the Tapaz Municipal Police Station said.
Investigation showed the electric lines tripped on Feb. 26 yet they had not been immediately acted upon by the local cooperative.
The boy was rushed to the Tapaz District Hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival./PN
