TELEVISION host Robi Domingo is looking forward to his wedding to fiancée Maiqui Pineda.
In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Domingo— who popped the big question to his girlfriend in Japan last year — opened up about their wedding plans.
“Together nabubuo na namin kung ano ‘yung magiging perfect wedding for us,” he said.
Without spilling too many details, Domingo said it’s going to be an intimate affair.
“It will be a private event. But it’s going to be something meaningful close to my heart,” he said.
Domingo and Pineda got engaged in November 2022 after four years of dating. The TV host previously shared he planned on proposing to Pineda in New York but decided to do it in Japan instead.
The “The Voice Kids” host — who recently celebrated his 15th anniversary in showbiz — also shared how he knew that his girlfriend is “the one.”
“She gives me so much purpose and we have the same goals. We have the same ideologies, and I just can’t stop talking to her. I love conversing with her, especially with ideas,” he said.
Just days prior to their engagement, Domingo said in an interview on PUSH Bets Live that he was ready to finally settle down.
“I think I’m ready to have that certain level up in our relationship. So, yes, napag-uusapan siya. Kasi nasabi ko din sa kanya ‘to a couple of weeks before, wala man akong market, may forever naman ako,” said Robi.
He went on, “Kapag nagawa mo na ‘yung mga gusto mo sa buhay, na-achieve mo na, and when you’re stable, that’s when you feel you are going to be partially ready. But to complete that, kailangan alam mong handa kang tumaya, handa kang ibigay lahat.”
“Kasi ako just think about it, kahit gusto kong sabihin na kinakabahan ako, mas nangingibabaw ang excitement ‘cause I know it’s going to be a fun journey with her.” (PUSH)
