ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office (PRO-6) yesterday received 10 new patrol cars (Toyota Hi-Lux) under the Capability Enhancement Program of the Philippine National Police.
The new patrol cars were distributed to the following police stations:
* Alimodian, Barotac Nuevo, Barotac Viejo, and San Dionisio police stations in Iloilo
* Kalibo, Madalag, Buruanga, and Malay police stations in Aklan
* Dumarao and Pilar police stations in Capiz
PRO-6 director, Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco, said these vehicles will improve the mobility of the aforementioned police stations.
“The success of every operation and activity depends on the efficiency of the individuals involved and the appropriateness of the tools used. I am optimistic that with these vehicles we will be able to deliver more accomplishments and further strengthen our connection with the community through regular police viability,” Francisco said.
The region’s top cop also told the recipient police stations: “These new patrol cars ay sana gamitin ninyo sa tamang paraan at sana lalo kayong ma-inspire magtrabaho. Wala na tayong dahilan na hindi tayo makapag-respond ng mabilis kasi bago na ang ating patrol cars./PN
