BACOLOD City – Ten individuals were charged with violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the gambling law, at around 3:35 p.m. on Monday in Barangay Alijis, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
They were Jonalyn Arcala, Julie Miranda, Rubelyn Espuerta, Joy Cabrillos, Estrella Monday, Neleza Gange, Roden Porquez, Fortunate Espuerta, Maria Luz Porquez and a male minor. All were residents of the locality.
Police confiscated gambling paraphernalia and P280 in bet money./PN
