BACOLOD City – A 17-year-old boy and his companion are facing theft charges for allegedly stealing the batteries of a wheel loader in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The minor’s name is being withheld by authorities, while the other suspect was identified as Segundo Pacigado, 35, a resident of Barangay Mansilingan.
Wheel loader driver Jay-ar Arante reported seeing the suspects carrying two batteries valued at P15,000 on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspects were taken to the local police station for custody./PN
