ILOILO – A seven-year-old girl was found dead in their house in Concepcion town around 5:30 a.m. yesterday.
Her pajama had blood stains, indicating a possible rape, according to Police Senior Master Sergeant Edcel Rey Casia of the Concepcion municipal police in an interview with DYRI RMN Iloilo.
The girl was brought to the Sara District Hospital for an autopsy.
A barangay health worker neighbor, meanwhile, said she did not hear any unusual noise.
Together with the victim in the house were her parents and siblings, the neighbor added.
“More or less lima ang ginalantaw naton nga persons of interest,” said Casia.
