LIZA Soberano said it was not her intention to offend many people with her previous statements.
Liza previously got netizens worried when her social media platforms suddenly went dark late last month. She later clarified she wasn’t hacked. Rather, it was her way of starting anew.
“Personally, I wanted a clean slate as I launched all the projects that I’m currently working on,” she explained.
Liza drew mixed reactions from people after uploading her 14-minute vlog where she expressed her sentiments about her career. Part of it was how she felt being boxed in and how she had limited control over the direction of her career.
This did not sit well with many as it seemed Liza didn’t appreciate the support and hard work that others put in to make her career work.
Liza clarified she was not complaining about her career and was just sharing what she went through.
In the aftermath of her previous blogs and interviews, Liza sent her apology and gratitude to her former talent manager, Ogie Diaz. She also acknowledged his significant contribution to her career.
“To Tito Ogie, I would like to say sorry if I hurt his feelings through my [This is Me] vlog,” said Liza. “And I would say thank you for everything that I have, everything that I know, and everything that I achieved [as an actress] through his help.”
Liza likewise sent her apologies to ABS-CBN, which had been her home network ever since she started her showbiz career.
Even after signing on with Careless, she still considers ABS-CBN as home. (PUSH)
