BACOLOD City – The No. 2 most wanted person in Manapla, Negros Occidental is facing an additional charge of possessing an unlicensed firearm.
The 38-year-old Ronald Baloran of the town’s Barangay San Pablo was arrested for a qualified statutory rape charge around 1:57 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, in Barangay Burgos, Cadiz City.
The Manapla police served the arrest warrant issued by Judge Leonardo Facultad Jr. of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 69.
The police, however, recovered from the suspect a .38 revolver with two ammunition.
Baloran was detained at the Manapla police station. The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty for the rape charge.
He is also facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act)./PN
