BACOLOD City – A body in an advanced state of decomposition stuffed in a sack was found at a sugarcane field in Barangay Damsite, Murcia, Negros Occidental yesterday morning.
The Murcia police have yet to identify the remains as of press time.
Barangay Captain Regie Burata of Damsite, in a radio interview, said resident Benjie Reuneir found the sack.
When the locals opened the sack, they found a dead naked man.
The area was near the garbage pile where a sack containing human bones was recovered on March 15.
As of this writing, the Murcia police have yet to determine if both incidents were related./PN
