CAPIZ – Around 250 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,700,000 were confiscated from a high-value drug suspect in a drug buy-bust operation in Roxas City.
The 38-year-old online seller Richard “Cherry Ferrer” Ferrer, a resident of the city’s Barangay Tiza, was caught after handing over a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P2,000.
The operation was carried out by the Special Drug Enforcement Team of Roxas City Police Station around 4:41 p.m. on March 30.
The suspect was detained at the Roxas City Police Station. A charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, was filed against him./PN
