ILOILO – A man was stabbed by two unidentified suspects in Barangay Mapili, San Enrique, Iloilo.
The alleged cause was a loud motorcycle exhaust.
Gey-m Minor Alarba, 32, of Barangay Braulan, San Enrique was on his way home around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, when two motorcycle-riding men pulled up.
“Halin ni (Alarba) sa fiesta and sang papuli niya may nakasabay siya nga naka single man nga motor, daw road rage ang cause. May witness kami na parang nayabangan ang mga suspect sa biktima dahil sa tambutso,” said Police Captain Johnny Oro, chief of the San Enrique Municipal Police Station (MPS), in an interview with Panay News.
The suspects fled.
“Kung ang intensyon gid nga patyon ang biktima indi lang ata to isa ka buno, siguro nayabangan lang talaga,” the police chief added.
Alarba has undergone an operation and is recovering at the Passi City District Hospital.
Meanwhile, the San Enrique MPS is tracking the suspects./PN
