BACOLOD City – Three houses were destroyed and one incurred partial damage in a Saturday night blaze in Barangay Handumanan here.
The damage was pegged at P2.4 million, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The destroyed houses were owned by Barbie May Belaño, Beverly Belaño and Jose Donald Allaga, while the partially damaged house was owned by Berserey Belaño.
City Fire Marshall chief inspector Stephen Jardeleza said the fire reached first alarm status.
It originated from the house of Barbie May at around 11:06 p.m.
A “fire out” was declared around 11:39 p.m.
No injuries or casualties were reported.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire./PN
