ILOILO – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) mulls a performance audit on police officers before deciding on a reshuffling.
Police Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 acting director, said when he was the deputy director for administration of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), they had a monthly performance audit of officers.
“Sa ngayon ay naibababa na sa mga opisina ang mga resources galing sa national headquarters,” said Villaflor.
Police officers and unit commanders not doing their duties will be forwarded to a committee.
“If there are officers or unit commanders na sa tingin namin mediocre o hindi nagtatrabaho ng maayos, the committee can study who will be relieved and who will remain in their posts,” said Villaflor.
He further stated that with their salaries doubled, there is no reason for police officers not to do their jobs well.
“Ano pa ba ang klase ng motivation para hindi kami magtrabaho? Sa palagay ko wala na,” Villaflor stressed./PN
