BACOLOD City – A suspected sub-leader of a drug group being monitored by the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) was arrested by the Intelligence Unit of the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) in Barangay Cogon, Compostela, Cebu.
Cader Chisno Magondacan of Barangay 31, Bacolod City was arrested through the strength of an arrest warrant on June 2, according to Police Colonel Noel Aliño, acting BCPO director.

The BCPO coordinated with the CPPO after learning that the suspect was hiding in Cebu.
Magondacan is currently in the custody of the CPPO. He is facing criminal cases for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) with Section 26 (b) Article 2 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 41 in Bacolod City did not recommend a bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty. (With a report from the Philippine News Agency)/PN
