ILOILO City – Up to 7,514 employment opportunities will be up for grabs at the Kalayaan Job Fair at SM City in Bacolod City on Monday, June 12.
With the theme “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan”, the fair will offer job openings for administrative and support services; construction; electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning; government agencies; human health and social work; information and communication; manpower services; manufacturing; personal service providers; transport services; and wholesale and retail trade.
According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 6, job vacancies may increase as more local employers are interested to join the job fair.
DOLE-6 regional director Sixto Rodriguez Jr. advised jobseekers to register through the www.bit.ly/2023KalayaanJobFair.
When going to the venue, jobseekers should bring their resumés, bio-data, and other necessary documents, Rodriguez said.
Aside from the job fair, other government agencies such as Social Security System, Pag-IBIG Fund, Department of Trade and Industry, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority will place help desks to cater to clients./PN
