THE New People’s Army (NPA) – Front Twelve, under the Panay Regional Operational Command, released a statement on the Communist Party of the Philippines’ (CPP) Philippine Revolution Web Central (PRWC). They denied the threat that caused the delay of the Barangay Development Program in Tubungan, Iloilo.
They blamed the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF ELCAC) for orchestrating what they claimed to be fake news and propaganda. The Napoleon Tumagtang Command of the NPA-Southern Panay stated that it is not the NPA that encourages local government units (LGUs) to join terrorism or hinder their progress.
It is very humiliating when this communist terrorist group claims that farm-to-market roads and other infrastructure will not resolve the mass problems of starvation and land reform. They blame the NTF ELCAC while also stating that the taskforce will use the said project as a corruption scheme.
They further believe that this is just a part of the government’s dirty tricks, and psychological warfare by the fascist state and the NTF ELCAC, aimed at provoking citizens to criticize the NPA.
What a pathetic statement coming from the true enemy of the Filipinos! How can they claim that the government’s efforts cannot help our countrymen? Are they not ashamed of their terroristic acts?
Their assertions, known to many as mere propaganda, give me literal goosebumps. How can they urge the masses to understand the real scenario and choose the right path to solve our economic problems, while they continue to kill innocent civilians?
And to make matters worse, they insist on organizing the masses to fight against the government.
